Takings Analysis
Some buffer opponents claim that buffers are a “taking” of private property. This fact sheet addresses the issue, and looks at case law and existing precedents that have found that buffer requirements are constitutional and do not constitute a “taking”.

BMP Manual Letter
This letter to DEP Secretary Kathleen McGinty lists the Campaign's concerns with the draft Stormwater Best Management Practices Manual, outlining what the Campaign believes must be done to properly manage stormwater in Pennsylvania .
Chapter 102 Letter to DEP
This letter outlines the Campaign's recommendations for changes to state regulations dealing with stormwater and erosion and sediment control during construction projects. It also includes our recommendations for at least a 100 foot riparian buffer along all streams and rivers in the Commonwealth.

Letter to DEP on Chapter 105 Changes
This letter outlines the Campaign's proposals to improve state regulations to protect our remaining wetlands. It includes a recommendation to better protect small headwater streams in our state.
Comments to Army Corps on Draft SPGP3
The Campaign commented on the draft statewide general permit for wetlands and stream encroachments, proposing stronger protections for our state's water resources.
Clean Water Act
CWRA Letter to Congress 2007
This letter to Pennsylvania 's Congressional delegation urges them to restore protection under the Clean Water Act to all waters of the United States . It would end recent changes that have eliminated protection for up to 20 million acres of streams and wetlands across the US .
