Legislators, Water Suppliers Speak for New State Clean Water Rules – State Board Holds Vote on Marcellus Wastewater and Stormwater Proposals

“After hearing from over 5,500 residents across the state, we are pleased to see the Environmental Quality Board take up these important rules to protect our streams and drinking water,” stated Myron Arnowitt, PA State Director for Clean Water Action. “Next, it is crucial that the Independent Regulatory Review Commission approve these rules as well so that we can be assured these water protections are in place,” Arnowitt continued.
